Governors:

Ofsted

Mr. Keeler and Mrs. Smith are very pleased with the reports acknowledgment of the schools “GOOD” teaching and care of children.  They also advised they have already started working towards “understanding what life is like in different communities both in the UK and further afield”.

The improvement areas are really achievable and under the new Ofsted framework we could have another report in 18 months.

They will be able to announce the new temporary Headmaster in a week or so.  (This has now been confirmed as Mr B Taylor).

Tony, Jackie, Ian and Jack are currently assessing the current condition of facilities for the swimming pool, with a view to proposing maintenance and improvement.  They expect to provide a plan and budget for these works shortly.
