Merit Awards Scheme

 

As children in Key Stage 2 progress through the school they have the ability to earn merit awards in recognition of excellent work or behaviour.

 

These can be achieved in any subject and after 5 merits have been awarded certificates for effort are then presented in our celebration assemblies. Which parents are welcome to attend!

 

Children work through the merits as follows................

 

5 merits = White Award

10 merits = Pink Award

15 merits = Orange Award

20 merits = Blue Award

25 merits = Yellow Award

30 merits = Green Award

35 merits = Red Award

40 merits = Bronze Award

45 merits = Silver Award

50 merits = Gold Award

 

Merits are cumulative, so once the White Award has been achieved, the 5 merits attained are banked and go to the next merit award.
