Healthy Eating
|
We are proud to be one of the first schools in Kent to recieve the new National Healthy Schools Status.
Snacks As well as being involved in the Key Stage 1 fruit and veg initiative, which provides a piece of fruit or vegetable for every child from Reception to Year 2, we have a snack policy whereby children are only allowed to bring in healthy snacks for break time such as fruit or cereal bars. Crisps, chocolates and biscuits are not allowed. |

School Meals We supply our own meals to children and staff which are cooked on site using fresh, local produce whenever possible. Children may have a school meal every day, on set days or occasionally. Every Monday children hand in a named, sealed envelope to their class teacher, containing an order form indicating when they would like a school meal, along with a cheque for the correct amount.
Come Join Us Parents are invited to eat with their children every Tuesday and Friday. If you wish to join us at lunchtime, just pop into the school office at some stage in the preceding week to order your meal. On the Tuesday or Friday, simply come to the office, sign in and you will then be able to join your child for lunch. | |
